Syrian media activist wins Reporters Without Borders award
The international reporting organization Reporters Without Borders named

as Reporter of the Year for 2016. Abdullah, from Homs, Syria, reports from opposition controlled territory in Syria. He was injured in a blast that killed his cameraman, Khaled al-Issa, in June.
